LANGUAGE LED LEARNING
Extending on Vygotsky's view that 'learning leads development', Language Led Learning sees language leading development.
It is through language that we articulate and affirm our thoughts. We recognise the impact of conversations that occur during, around and about play, as catalysts of emerging literacy and social-emotional skills.
It is the language we use with ourselves that impacts our emotional wellbeing, how we speak to others that affects our social experiences.
Working with educators, parents, groups and individuals Language Led Learning delivers the latest in evidence-based learning intervention practices through an arts-based curriculum that's designed for all ages.
Love of learning is achieved through fun and engagement. We uphold every child's right to express themselves freely whilst nurturing a wide range of social-emotional development, creativity, problem-solving and executive functioning skills.
Drawing on over 25 years experience in a range of educational settings, LLL is the culmination of extensive research and day-to-day learning.
Language Led shows parents and educators alike, ways that they can tailor learning goals and strategies to individuals' strengths, needs and sociocultural influences. Our methods are data-driven and informed by quality communication practices as a foundation for lifelong learning.
At Language Led Learning we believe in the power of play; to make learning fun, cultivate a love of learning and promote positive experiences within the learning environment.
